There is this thing we experience here on MDS from time-to-time, I'm not sure if it's common elsewhere, but it's known as "thread drift."

Thank you for taking one for the team. For the record I never even parked in their lot because of the BS ID policy.,

Wear and Carry Training first renewal

Utah would be a piece of or icing on the cake compared to bundling MD and DC. I would wager a large number of MD and DC permit aspirants and holders got their Utah ticket years ago, and thus only need to toss Utah a few bucks every once in a while to keep that permit active

Police scanner no longer picking up traffic

I prefer the subscription service Radio Reference. It's more user-friendly then the Uniden software. @motorcoachdoug really got me up to speed on modern, programmable trunked scanning. I first got started scanning with a Bearcat Four-Six crystal scanner in the 1970's.

I live in MoCo police D5 and my Uniden BCD536HP picks up those comms right now. MSP coming in loud and clear, too.

I had a conversation with Mark Pennak that the MSI website could be much more user friendly.

Total Number of Issued Permits in Maryland?

Consider building the cost of one year of basic MSI membership into the price of W&C class tuition and including one year of MSI membership for each student. Perhaps there may need to be an opt-out option, but no class fee reduction. Mark would get names and contact information for direct...
