PA Spring Gobbler, first turkey ever. Fully dressed out at 16lbs. Gonna try to deep fry him later this month. 40yd shot with my Browning Gold Hunter, Winchester DoubleX 3" #4 Turkey load, new Carlson's TSS Turkey Choke

Congrats on a nice bird. Did you pluck or skin it? Deep frying will make it dry and tough if you skinned it.

Just one of those seasons. Two days in a row I've had to leave gobbling birds in the morning for obligations. Go out this afternoon, nothing. As I'm coming in, I stopped to put our chickens in and Teo birds fired off in the ravine behind our barn. Spent an hour trying to get them to cross the property line with no success.
