The hand pumps they have out there now are pretty easy to pump up to 2000 PSI and there are several good PCP's that operate at that pressure. After your first fill, you will likely only shoot down to 1000 at the most so the pumping time is much shorter. I was pumping well into my sixties on 3000 PSI rifles. No, you can't do it all in one sitting but you can do it. ;)
I ain’t pumping. I’m gonna flick a switch. Good god man, is this the dark times? ;)

Will the compressor I bought was 199.00.
It uses 120 ac volts or 12 volt dc
I used the 12 volt cord today and noticed no difference in refill times.

14.3 grain crossman hollow points seems to be what rifle likes.
this is what is recommended and what I had on hand since my nitro gas piston liked best.

weird but have not seen a rat bastard or ground hog in yard since I got pcp lol

    still having fun shooting it.
I have noticed bolts action getting smoother and easier. Trigger more predictable so groups are getting tighter.

I mounted the night vision monocular on to the scope today and poa / poi is still the same.
see my post on night vision for air rifles in this section.
( night vision monocular clamps to back of rifles scope allowing you to look thru scope with night vision view) but-still use scopes crosshairs. Night vision was 100 bucks.

so total investment in pcp rifle, duel voltage compressor to charge it with addition of night vision.

all in including shipping items tad under 600.00

I could not buy mid level pcp rifle ,nor compressor, not to mention deticated night vision scope separately for that cost I do feel I put together an inexpensive combo for a decent price for those looking to get into the pcp market.
hope that helps info wise based on my experience
hope your experience is the same

So last night I decided to sit out back to see if any rats were still around from house being rehabbed up the street.l I spotted one rat bastard just as sun went down.
Scoped him thru night vision scope attachment. Never really got what I fell was a clear crisp cross hair picture reguardless of n v focus adjustment.

So unclamped N V scope, mounted a red light beam flash light on top of scopes. waited till “game” was spotted with N V binoculars ,then clicked on red light and had perfect, clear picture of lit target Picture in scopes cross hairs day light clear. Rats can't see red light so don’t react.
Gave me enough time and clear view to take shot.

So far it seems using night vision for spotting, locating, then use red light beam to illuminate target in this case a rat, gives day light view thru scope for accurate shoot.

    Just my experience so far.
And yes new gamo and crossman
14.3 hollow points did as expected

I have an Urban and it too shoots well. I've shot rats using red light. They do adapt quickly and notice when the light shines on them. Enjoy before they figure it out.

After reading this thread I have a Notos coming tomorrow... Kid has some flavor of Benjamin that is ridiculously accurate but very heavy so this should be an interesting project. He also has a pump. :)
