Saw this video yesterday. Not sure if I'd get one. At first I wanted one, but then the more I thought about it, the more I figured if it was as easy on the body as it looked, I'd spend a crap ton of money on ammo shooting this dang thing.

Suppressor is cool, but, What is the purpose of a 5” shotgun ?
Hello Hibs. New member here. There is a true facination with short barreled shotguns. I have many myself.
I own the 7" version in the video. Just recently got it all legal after waiting almost 10 months to get that GEN 12. Not had it out yet but that day is coming soon. Mine is also suppressed, its not quiet but it is nicely hearing safe. Shot a suppressed 12 ga at Arizona CanCon a few weeks ago. Suppressors take some of the bite out of that 12 ga blast and recoil. Definately reduces the fatigue shooting several hundred rounds of 12ga gives ya. They are adicting for sure. I build my own. The challange is to make a gas gun run with a short barrel and be reliable. I like the challange. Pumps guns are a no brainer. Once you own a short one, you just might be hooked as I was.

Ultimate home defense weapon, I concur. All of my shotguns are reliable. Especially the SBS's. Longest SBS I have is a 14" 1100 Remington. My home defense is an 8.5" RIA VR80. Minus the EOtech and no choke adapter. Shiney muzzle adapter is the external choke adapter. Short and nasty for the unwanted. Running stock sized gas ports, just in front of the round in the chamber. Burns hot and clean.

You guys are right. I should have elaborated and mentioned detachable magazine fed shotguns specifically.

My Mosin's always hung up with rims hitting rims. Until I loaded one at a time and made sure the rounds were stacked correctly.

No need for the discussion to go further. But this is MDS.

If you Mosin is doing this, then you need to check the interrupter or maybe put a new one in. While the British .303 rifles had to have the clips loaded properly or they would rim lock, the Mosin Nagant does not have that problem as it has an interrupter which holds the top round in the magazine until the bolt is cycled back.
