      yup. I should have bought all my favorites, AR, mini 14, .308. Dillon press, ALL the AMMO I could carry, 1911, Several Smiths, Ruger Cowboy guns, a few Weatherby's and so much more.

      I read this title ALL wrong, I THINK. I was trying to figure out how it could possibly be illegal or made to be illegal for a barrel to not be able to be screwed to the frame.

      No Comment on the " great price" I think I got my original Marlin 1894 from Duffy's for $350 including a Weaver scope. Now that is a GREAT PRICE.

      HOLY SHIP, LATE 30's. HERE I thought you were grizzled like me in all that you know and the level of knowledge you have honed on specialized subjects like mechanics, guns, reloads etc. At 60, I am as green as it comes in many areas except for common sense.

      On a serious note. I am no pro and can't speak of any of the mentioned scopes already, but Maybe 15 years back, I bought a nice 50's Model 70 and put a Zeiss Conquest on it.
