A heavy lead brick is the ideal surface to hit with a kinetic bullet puller. I have one I've been using for years and it has almost no bounce and the bullets come out quicker than with a block of wood or even a concrete floor.
The CGS was in stock (!) and on sale ($535), and all I need this type device for is to reduce ear damage if I happen to fire it w/o ear pro.
I thought the piston was needed for (tilt-barrel) semi-auto handguns to allow cycling, but I could be mistaken.

The problem with carp is that they keep the silt stirred up and if it settles on the nests of other fish, it kills the eggs (that they might have missed sucking up). I never let any go.

Can't answer for the other poster, but we always heard they were not very good eating and never tried them. There was an old German lady that would see us bowfishing and ask if we would save her some.
Agreed to the 'heavy duplex' comment. My 2-7x shotgun scope has one and it really draws your eye.
