I picked the Satellite office. They have plenty of available parking.
I picked up mine yesterday. From parking to being back in the car on the way home was about 15 minutes total. I had to wait for the guy before me to finish up.
One thing that MD has taught me is patience. I understand that just about everything I want MD to do for me, any other state will do it better.
Of course, I know that NJ, NY, CT, RI, CA, etc may or may not be more efficient than MD.
Just want to say I'm thrilled with the speed of the PA non-resident approval process. I submitted my request April 19 at about 4 p.m. I received approval today April 22 at 2:35 p.m. Less than a full work day. Bravo to the York County Sheriff's office.
I briefly looked over the thread. It seems like it takes about 45 days from the time they cash the check until receiving the card. Does that seem about right?
I mailed the packet on 3/12/2024. They charged my card on 3/29/2024. Which puts it at 24 days from the time they charged my card.

The ads make it seem like it is the ultimate carry option, which certainly does not exist.
Since I've submitted my wear and carry permit application, I've been looking into various carry options. I've had several ads pop up about various t-shirts with pockets in the armpit. I can see this as a legitimate option.
However, this doesn't seem like it would be a good carry system. But...
