My biggest beef with the more recent 10/22's I have owned is the stock screws loosen up form factory bedding. They sometimes shoot loose before a range session of over.

I have used Aguila in my 22 conversions (handgun) and it is one of my preferred loading for the task. Typically,
it is the Super Extra I buy for that purpose. In a hbar Ruger 10/22 its a good shooter as well.
