The pistol roster in Maryland is more of a nuissance than it is anything else. The board approves almost all the pistols that end up there. The 1 in 30 law is moot because any person that can purchase a firearm can apply for Designated Collector status and buy 30 handguns in a 30 day period if...
And you beat me too it. +1
At least Maryland gives permits to business owners, large cash depositers and a few other priveledged business individuals. Hawaii and New Jersey just don't issue permits even though the law allows it and Illinois is still no issue remember. Hawaii, New York and...
The SW E series is just the new baseline 1911's from Smith and Wesson. They can already be purchased. They should be logged by the dealer as SW1911 45 ACP IIRC. Also the SR1911 was on the August board I believe. It should be available for sale around September 22, 2011 IIRC. Thats when the PPQ...
Of course those spinner targets are for after you guys leave Green Ridge right? Unless you plan on ripping down the 20+ signs that say no ground targets- paper targets only ah haha..... :lol2:
Hawaii is much worse than Maryland when it comes to gun control and unconstitutional gun laws. I lived there for 8 years and didn't own a single gun. 10 round mag cap. Almost no way to carry any type of weapon anywhere EVEN IN YOUR HOME. Ammo logs and permits to purchase. 14 day wait period for...
All this is is an escape door for Maryland to make it harder to get handguns into the state. Some manufacturers will not fire a case so the handguns never make it into Maryland unless someone knows about the FFL-07 loophole.
Gators, big ass snakes and tegu. I think I'll stay up north.
I pray that the Supreme Court will just say enough is enough on one of the cases waiting for cert and just smash sensative areas, smash grandfathered laws, smash restrictive schemes nationwide.

I was just about to post this. The bill was written to allow the government and police forces 4 months to meet the standards of the bill.
So November 1, 2011 or there about I will be able to carry in 32 states and Maryland is not one of them.
Thats the Champion Series SW1911DK. It has Koenig trigger and speed hammer, match barrel and oversized mag well. The performance center SW1911DK is 38 super and is like $2500.
Here's mine. I like you am in love with the gun. It will be one that is in my safe until the day I die.
According to the charts you have a much higher chance of being beaten to death by blunt force trauma or stabbed to death than shot if you are white. :sad20:
NRA membership fees are not only used for lobbying. They are spent on youth firearms training and education and programs like Youth Shooting Sports Camps, the Youth Education Summit and other programs that provide a foundation to keep shooting sports alive for generations to come. The NRA...
I'll bring a XD 9 and 40, SW 1911DK and a Henry repeater 22 out on the 21st. If you guys have any extra 9 luger, 40 or 45 acp ammo that you wanna shoot bring it. I don't reload so I won't have a huge amount of ammo. Maybe a 100 rounds or so of each.
I carry around my house to break in my new IWB holsters. For new carriers I would actually recommend carrying at home on the weekends and when you are off. If for nothing else just to get used to the added weight. Pistols seem light but if you get a bad belt they can feel like a ton of bricks...
