      Savage Military Trial .45

Replay time, hard to believe I've been away from the forum for close to 5 years. Hope all is well with everyone. This is the cornerstone of my Savage collection, it's my Savage 1907 Serial #78 Military Trial Test .45, one of the original 200 sent to the US Military and tested and competed...

      Savage model 1917

Here is an original .45 trial pistol with it's issued holster. A very old gentleman had this listed a number of years ago and was asking 30K for the rig. I'm basing the owners age on the hands shown holding the pistol while taking the pictures. Holsters are more rare than the pistols.

Savage 1907 Pocket or Purse Holster

I picked up a Savage model 1907 chamois pocket or purse holster made between 1914-1918. These were considered fragile back in the day due to the soft shammy material on the outside and felt on the inside, they were very vulnerable to moths and overall deteriorations thus very few appear today...

      1920 Pearl Savage M1907 in .32

Savage model 1907 from the production year 1920, notice the high number of serrations in the slide that's how you can detect a late model 1907 with a 21 serrations. This one has a matte blue-black finish which was what they were using in that time period. From early production to the end of...
