I love mine. I'd opt for the fully tegimented version if they are still available. I've had mine for about 6 years, maybe 7, and it still looks brand new.
I bought a few carbon fiber rods, forget where from now. They work well biggest problem is attaching the wooden disk and velcro to the end.
I used something like JB Weld. The peel and stick velcro doesn't hold up for too many uses before it detaches from the disk.
Just haven't had time to mess...
