      So whats the real question here?? If its just you in the home (no family) who cares how loud it is. An accurately placed bullet, no mater the size, will effectively stop a threat. Bullet doesn't care about barrel length in close quarters

      Maybe, just maybe. I don't have to pay? Just to sum what I want to say up. I've been trained to shoot, so I know how to and be safe doing it. I police up after myself and even clean up after others. $10 is not a lot. I do support 2A. Be aware of your assumptions.
