Somebody turned me on to pickled ramps last year, so I am going to use my hot/sweet pickle recipe to pickle a dozen quarts or so. We have innumerable ramps growing around here. Molly Moochers ought to be coming in soon also.
Anyone else gather ramps?
I want to get a new hunting rifle. I want to stick with 30.06. I want it to be accurate (out to a 1000 yards), fairly light, suppressible and reliable. I'd like to keep it under $2K (without optics)
What are you guys shooting out there and what do you recommend?
Thanks a bundle!

The judge refused to throw it out agreeing with the plaintiffs that the Bushmaster rifle is a military rifle and should have never been sold to civilians.
This is bad. Real, real bad. If they win...
I just had to post this. I put in an order for 400 rounds of 300 ACC Blackout subsonics after having to have my credit card cancel the order from Ozark Ordinance after over two weeks of no response from them about my order. Fog contacted me after I placed my order and told me they were beginning...

by Shellback Tactical. Comes with standard sized plate holders plus side plate holders.
These are both the 7.62 flavors. Both are titanium and ran pretty close in price. The Thunderbeast is a dedicated suppressor that is now on my long range .308 rifle while the YHM Phantom is a quick detach model that is bouncing around between a variety of rifles from an AR-10 to a Saga. I also...
I'm making a move within Maryland. I have a tax stamp for a suppressor through my trust. Does anything need to be done to reflect my address change on the Stamp (and the address change on the trust)?
My C&R expires in couple of months. Don't know whether I want to renew it or not as I have purchased most of the C&R firearms I wanted. Anyone know of any really cool firearms that will be getting the C&R designation in the future that would make me want to keep the license? Any other reasons to...
Just finished the Bullpup build of the 870. The original kit that I purchased I wasn't really happy with and I was able to exchange it for the newer kit. The original was 25% glass impregnated polypropylene while the new kit is 30% glass filled nylon, which is much stronger and more rigid. The...
Can we start posting links in this thread to the different news stories out there that covered the rally and hearings today.
Here's one:

Anyone in Calvert or St. Mary's interested in going in on some powder and primers? Trying to offset the Hazmat fee and thought if we could get a group buy together it would knock those fees per person down quite a bit.
When I send in the form 1 with the copy of my Trust, do I have to have the copy newly notarized with a raised embossed seal, or is just a photocopy of the original notorized trust okay?
I'm looking to get a suppressor now that I have my NFA Trust set up. I was hoping that I could find a dealer in St. Mary's or Calvert counties as I usually don't have much extra time to get out of the counties for multiple runs during business hours.
Anyone familiar with a class III dealer...
Can any of you who owns the mosquito recommend a holster that will fit it? A paddle holster is preferred. This is something that I want to use to carry it around the farm, but not CC. So something that will hold it securely but release it quickly when I confront a varmint that needs killin'.
The wife and I took both out shooting this weekend as a comparison (she was going to decide which one she likes for herself for CCW). We fired about 100 rounds of the specific caliber of ammo through each gun.
We were shooting Russian 9x18 ball ammo in the P-64 and Freedom Arms 380 acp ball...
Just ordered a case of .45 to try. They have a 10% off deal going on until mid-February (coupon code: first10).
Anyone else use their ammo?
I probably won't order from them again because their shipping is outrageous
($43.00 for a case 0f .45 acp). Still came out to less than any other...
