Does anyone know of any places in south central PA, like Littlestown, Gettysburg, Hanover, Shrewsberry, that keeps standard capacity Beretta 92 mags on stock? When I was in Leesburg, VA last week, I tried a few places but nobody had them. Thanks for any suggestions.
Yeah, I remember watching that in disbelief. And when the cops went into that old lady's house and smashed her into the wall, breaking her arm when she showed the camera guy the old antique revolver.
CTD f'd us over back in 2012 before we knew any better. Bought a spam can of ammo JUST before the Sandy Hook shooting. CTD held up shipping. Item was originally listed as IN STOCK. Then after they told us it was out of stock, back ordered. Then 2 months later they told us it was in but there was...
If this is your first AR, get the AR15 before an AR10. Lighter, cheaper, more versatile. Buy a CMMG .22lr conversion kit with 10rd mags and you can shoot cheap .22lr with it. As far as 5.56 going away, I don't see it, but there's plenty of Remington .223 you can shoot. Or, buy a quiet .300BLK...
The metal trigger guard/trigger is a good idea. I got one for mine. My dad has a Marlin 60, and his polymer trigger guard cracked. I shot mine a little while ago, and decided to get a more powerful scope. I took the rifle down to scrub and clean, and it can be a pain. I bent my stupid recoil...
I like the 65 MOA ring with the dot in the middle. I have an EoTech 512 on my Colt and a Sightmark M-Spec on my WW secondary rifle. Same view, but cheaper. Big windows, clear glass. I find it much easier for me to quickly put a target in the ring than a dot or iron sight with my bad eyes. I have...
I agree. The Commit to Buy button locked a person in, and shut down, or paused the ad. The Buy it for $xxx just sends a message, which can be very confusing if you are having conversations with 3-4 other people about who wants it first, but you haven't been able to pause or close your ad yet...
Clearing out stuff, and found some 6.5 Grendel ammo I have left that got forgotten about.
1 box of Hornady Black 6.5 Grendel ELD 123gr match ammo. $20.00
6 boxes of Wolf Military Classic 100gr steel case 6.5 Grendel. $14/box
Picked up in Westminster, MD. No trades unfortunately, need cash...
I have a 12G Tristar Viper G2, but in 12G, and shooting target loads, it's a pretty soft shooter IMHO. I have a Kicks ported choke as well, but it's been a great shotgun. If you can find a 20G I think you'd be pretty happy with it. I love mine.
I have a Remington 700 varmint in .308 and the action is very gritty as well. I wasn't super impressed, but hey, I wanted a Remington. I may eventually do some work on it to get it smoother out and tuned, who knows.
I researched 410s pretty good before buying a 410 for my wife and daughter to use. If you are going to use it for self defense, I would avoid a magazine fed 410 shotgun. One problem with 410 shotguns is the ammo. Despite the length stated on the box, the shells can be varying lengths based on...
