    Specs - its a Aero Precision lower custom built by a forum member with a DPMS Rifle Length Upper; shooting with C-Mags (?) 7.62x39 AR mags; ammo = PMC Bronze brass cased (one dud in the batch)

    Took my 7.62x39 AR out for a run the other day; no malfunctions and fun to shoot. I'll tell you what, I never imagined the difference in recoil between that 7.62x39 and the 5.56 in the AR platform. You definitely notice the 7.62x39. That said, recoil was quite manageable and the rifle was pleasant to shoot.

    My 7.62x39 AR turned heads at the range. Everyone was like WTF...thats not .223 yea, i think the upper is a great investment.
