Savage Model 25 Walking Varminiter Rifles in 5.7x28

New Savage Rifles Model 25 Rifles in 22 Hornet, .222 Rem, and 5.7x28. 5.7 is an interesting choice. They also released a bunch of Suppressor Ready rifles.

Hmmmm wonder what a 5.7x28 would do to a ground hog?

No idea? .204 Ruger is a pretty cool round though. Thought it was interesting they would offer the 5.7x28 in a bolt action rifle. Has to be a first.

yup, it'd be even cooler if it could take the ps90 mags somehow. someone's gotta figure out a bolt gun to do it. maybe a straight pull like a t-bolt could work. At the least make it take the five-seven 20 rnd mags.

Cost. I can get a box of 5.7x28 for about $22 for 50 rounds. Max shooting distance is 100 yards. PLUS it would maybe make owning something else 5.7 look good
