Peter Hamm, spokesman for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, which targeting Giannetti in the fall, said Rosapepe and his supporters should be careful not to act disingenuous. 
‘‘I have to tip my hat to the senator,” Hamm said. ‘‘I don’t want him to represent his district in the Maryland Senate, but I want him in the restaurant every day of the week.”
