The hand pumps they have out there now are pretty easy to pump up to 2000 PSI and there are several good PCP's that operate at that pressure. After your first fill, you will likely only shoot down to 1000 at the most so the pumping time is much shorter. I was pumping well into my sixties on 3000 PSI rifles. No, you can't do it all in one sitting but you can do it. ;)
I ain’t pumping. I’m gonna flick a switch. Good god man, is this the dark times? ;)

Will the compressor I bought was 199.00.
It uses 120 ac volts or 12 volt dc
I used the 12 volt cord today and noticed no difference in refill times.

14.3 grain crossman hollow points seems to be what rifle likes.
this is what is recommended and what I had on hand since my nitro gas piston liked best.

weird but have not seen a rat bastard or ground hog in yard since I got pcp lol

    still having fun shooting it.
I have noticed bolts action getting smoother and easier. Trigger more predictable so groups are getting tighter.

I mounted the night vision monocular on to the scope today and poa / poi is still the same.
see my post on night vision for air rifles in this section.
( night vision monocular clamps to back of rifles scope allowing you to look thru scope with night vision view) but-still use scopes crosshairs. Night vision was 100 bucks.

so total investment in pcp rifle, duel voltage compressor to charge it with addition of night vision.

all in including shipping items tad under 600.00

I could not buy mid level pcp rifle ,nor compressor, not to mention deticated night vision scope separately for that cost I do feel I put together an inexpensive combo for a decent price for those looking to get into the pcp market.
hope that helps info wise based on my experience
hope your experience is the same
