I need to mail (or ship) a pair of handguns to an FFL in West Virginia. When complete, he will ship them to me.
I look at websites like Pew Pew Tactical that indicate I can mail it from licensee to licensee. Does my FFL03 count for this?
And I look at the USPS regulations.
Handguns may also be mailed between licensed manufacturers of firearms, licensed dealers of firearms, and licensed importers of firearms in customary trade shipments, or for repairing or replacing parts.
Same question. Does my FFL03 allow me to use the USPS mail system?
Or is there an easier way to ship the Ruger Vaqueros?
Or should I use a local shop to ship them?
When I had the smith, Cody Conagher, work on my long guns, I drove them out there. Easy drive, but with an upcoming wedding I'm looking at shipping them.
