    I've had mine for a couple weeks now. I never put any pics up! Below you will find various pics of the various stampings I have found and some comparisons against more modern Russian engineering ;)

    Very nice. I may just have to go pick an M44 up soon. Construction costs are really eating into my gun play money though.

    I heard one of these at the range a little while back. LOUD! It made me want to go out and buy one but I never pick up the phone to do so. One day Ill regret it I'm sure, just like I regret not buying a few 59/66 SKS's when they were priced around $100 each.

    If you have a C&R license, Century has a deal on M44's in Good Condition with cracked stocks that expires today, 5/31. Three for $147, plus shipping.

    I'd take advantage of it but I'm tapped out right now after getting a 91/30 and another SKS.

    I have a unfired 91/30 that I plan on breaking in at the range on the 10th. I will also be breaking in my unfired Enfield 2a so I can say it's been shot :)
