NO! There one of the best investments you can make. They hold or increase in value provided you don't overuse or abuse them. It's like depositing money in the Bank and you don't have to pay Taxes on the Interest. I know of a few who collect and don't shoot just for that reason!

congrats on the XD, they feel really nice in hand, and i can imagine they shoot just as nice

Let's have a range report on it ASAP too. I've been toying with the idea of getting an xd9 for a while, but it just doesn't really fit any need I have right now.

I bought it at The Tackle Box in St. Leonard - and the price (while a little high IMHO) out the door was 570.
