    This is from their website:

    Rifle Range

Three+ position (prone, bench, kneeling/sitting, and standing/off hand), 8-station, fully-baffled range with target-frames at 50-, 75-, and 100 yards for paper targets (110-yards for steel matches). Capable of centerfire cartridges up to but not including .50 BMG. Firing-line shed offers shelter to the shooters. An AED is available at this range.

Doesn't look like it. You may want to clarify with their membership guy. For that caliber there is no real point joining a club that only has a 100yrd range.

    Our Rifle-Range is only 100-yards, unfortunately.:sad20:

Nope -- .50BMG is prohibited on our ranges. Sorry.

A member is allowed to sponsor 3-guests per day onto the Club's grounds.

They had some openings a couple of weeks ago.

That window opened and closed quickly. If you submit an application now, you'll likely get a membership offer in early August of 2015.

    Far flung brass

I shoot at MG fairly often and my Mini-14 has a tendency to throw brass a long way. I try to get one of the far tables, but if I can't I always approach the person shooting next to me and offer the use of a hardhat :). Most people I have explained this to just laugh and say "I'll duck, but thanks for letting me know.
As far as loud rifles, I shot my Swiss k-31 there and the guy next to me was freaked at how loud it was. I loaned him my extra hearing protection (he was just using plugs). When we cooperate and are safe responsible users of the range, everyone wins. :D
PS I'm the guy in the Rick3bears Pro Firearms Care T-shirt. ( a little self-promotion there)

Yogi has a cowboy hat and a large gut. Tells a lot of stories mostly to unwilling listeners. Prefers the first shooting station.
Sounds like a guy I would see there from time to time. The guy I'm thinking of constantly mutters the same phrase over and over under his breath.

It was a very nice day, got to MG round 930 only 3 other shooters, went down and setup my targets walked back to the benches turned my back to the two shooter to my right the shooter to my left walked up backup to the parking area and out of the blue BANG the A$$HAT 10 feet behind me left off a round. I jumped just about came unglued and let out a loud yelled "Who called the range HOT" I turned around and looked at the guy that was as shocked as I was had a look on he's face what did I do wrong. I didn't have my ear plugs or head set on and was pissed. "Rule of thumb" never trust anyone or let you guard down even if it was a nice day.:mad54:

Went yesterday morning about 10. Had a couple of lanes open no problems. Had a gentleman next to me shooting a flintlock black powder, very interesting. Everyone was safe and met some nice people
