my last purchase of IMR has been a long time... didn't realize that it is no longer sold in the metal cans. At least that is what I see in the pictures.

    A VERY long time. :D

Something like 2006 is when they switched.

Hodgdon bought the IMR line about then, and switched to the plastic Hodgdon bottles.

FYI, I met the guy from the BP counter while he was near the powder writing down numbers. I thought he was keeping a list in case someone calls but he wasn't. He told me that he comes out daily to see what they need to order and orders it. What they get in is a different story.

Was just at Bass Pro, not a great selection today for pistol powder. I was looking for HP38 or W231...no go. I did pick up some Bullseye and primers.

Looking for Hogdgon Clays or International or Alliant Clays or 20/28 in 4 pounders or 8 pounders in PA.

You're looking for it in Pennsylvania? Try W.E.Sell Sporting Goods in Hanover. They have a lot of powder.

Not sure if anyone uses Accurate Nitro 100 NF powder for pistol (9mm and .45 ACP), but Accurate has a formula listed for both. I've not used it and am good on powder right now, but Widener's has it on sale for $89 for 8 lbs! (Plus hazmat and shipping, of course. But that's far less than Bass Pro $30+ per pound shown above.)

Primer section looks a little thin.

I "think" there is an upper shelf with all the CCI stuff cause I know I got CCI SPP that day. Yes, they don't have the big 1000 boxes but I have yet to ever ask at the counter if those are stored in the side where they used to be whenever I went to ask. Primers in 1000 boxes is one of the things I stock up at the gun shows cause they are $29 a box. Primers are not a big expense (unless you cast your own bullets) but they are like $4/100 at Basspro and Gander.

    Stopped by Bass Pro today.

They had most of everything I could think of in Powder. Even had an End-Isle display of more power. From what I remember seeing....

HP38, HS-6, Bullseye, Unique, Titegroup, 748, 4895, Power Pistol, Reloader 15, 17, and many more.
