The rookie officer who cuffed me up put “hinge cuffs” on me, which aren’t designed to be used when a detainee’s arms are behind his back.

Hinge cuffs are only supposed to be used when your hands are in front.

Those cuffs don’t roll the way standard “chain link” handcuffs do, so I was in pain for 2 hours until they locked me to the steel bench at the Anne Arundel PD.

With my right hand free and the arresting officers poring over the charging book, a snapped a pic of my left hand locked to the booking bar.

In my opinion, someone who takes an oath to uphold the Constitution, has a DUTY to REFUSE unconstitutional orders. Those brown shirts would probably collect your firearms, too, if that order were to come from their master. They need new professions.

Thanks to everyone involved in this atrocity. For sure those involved on the other side are looking for a way out of this one. We need to keep track and contact all media outlets as this is a National offense, if it is allowed here in MD, well I'm just short on words for this blatant quieting of ones opponents, a (D) strategy evolved greatly by previous administrations and gerrymandered into OUR state.

Spread the word, as we know most Marylanders, out of state manufacturers with paid attorneys and most importantly current legislators cannot even understand the current gun laws. Get the go fund me thing to go National!

GoFundMe Terms Of Service doesn’t allow for criminal defense, plus they are anti gun.

GoFundMe will just delete it once it gets going and people will think they donated, but donations will be lost.

These guys have pretty much NOTHING to do. This was a major incident for them. I would say that there are first timer "cops" working there who have never made an arrest at all. Most aren't seasoned enough to even question right or wrong.

If a hundred or so folks on FB see this, or even the family of Miller and Hogan, they might be able to pressure them to do something to stop this illegal police harassment.

While my job hours prohibit me from being available to assist with a protest, I am more than willing to take a day off a few weeks from now to join a picket. I've been on the sideline for years slowly saving up to leave to a free state, but this is absolutely unacceptable. If the First Amendment can't stand than all the others cannot either. These cops need to check their Oath of Office, they clearly don't understand it. Aside from the "crime". A direct complaint to the Department needs to be made. That will force an investigation.
