They do still make the 550, it's the 550C.
The NO B.S. warranty is just that.
I'm sure other stuff I cannot remember.... (CRS)
- I bent a locator button (my fault - told the that too) -> REPLACED
- Case stuck in resizing die -> REPLACED
- Misc small replacement parts -> REPLACED FREE
- Decapping pins -> some bought some free
- Wife bought from LOCAL store a set of dies (missing 1 die) -> SENT MISSING DIE FREE (Sure someone stole it from local store)
Yes. I believe the 750 has taken the place of the 650.
When I was shopping for a tumbler, I landed on RCBS because of that warranty. Dad always had a lot of RCBS stuff - almost all of his dies were RCBS until he bought a Dillon and started using their dies.RCBS has almost the same warranty. My 30 year old ProMelt casting furnace gave up the ghost about 2 years ago. I called them and they said send it in with $10 and they will rebuild it. Since a new one is over $300 bucks these days, I thought it was a great deal. The unit came back almost like new.
My Uniflow powder measure, maybe 50 years old, started getting wobbly so I sent it in and they sent me a completely new unit.
That is the America I remember.
