I think you're supposed to switch to a larger powder charge after the third one. Helps get all the debris.Next one 'otta do it.

In 38, should be ok. Whoever does your rebarrel can check it out. A friend bought a military and police in same condition for a song and has since rebarreled. Shoots it for kicks.Somewhere in the back of my safe I have a S&W Model 10 that was handed down to me from my grandad. It has a bulged barrel. According to my dad, gramps only fired twice before noticing a not so normal report. I have often thought about having it re-barreled, but figured the cost might be prohibitive. Also, not shure if the frame may of been stressed.
Or it was an n frame 8 shot.I count 8 bullets, He had to reload, that or he had multiple projectiles loaded in each cartridge. (Anythings possible I guess...)
