Tonight I find myself sitting in my gun vault (Heavily modified basement) thinking about how far I have come. Taking a moment to think about the many great people I have met in the shooting community, on MDS and while running Genesis Firearms. The many life long friends, those that have gone to their great reward to soon and those that challenged me.
To those that created challenges, caused problems and pushed me. Thank You. You proved that I am stronger and more resilient than I ever thought I could be.
To those that were gone to soon, I think about you often. You left your mark on my life and many of you steered me to make the decisions that have put me where I am today. To name a few but not all (many the members here won't know) Robert Jackson, Roger Hall, Mooseman, Lou45, DD214 (Don), Danny Bradford and Bobby Cutright. Their are so many more but my brain just bring their names to the front at the moment.
To those I call friends (its a very long list) Thank you for taking me as I am. For the encouragement the constructive criticism and the flat out good times. I may not see or talk to you often. I do think about and pray for you often. I can't express how much I cherish the memories of the time we have spent together. The rallies, gun runs, gun shows, range days, meeting at various gun shops, classes and meet & greets.
Life isn't perfect, it never will be. The challenges, the losses and the memories make it so worth the ride.
I hope you all have a great night, don't be strangers.
