This is actually the second year for this event. I was the representative for Maryland last year, and will be again this year. Fortunately for me, I will be moving to a free state the end of this year, so next year the DC Project will need a new representative for our state. I'll fight for you...
This is an old thread, but I want to say I tried out TMGN last Thursday and it was a good match. I highly recommend giving it a try. I am used to shooting 3 gun scoring with two hits anywhere counting to neutralize the target. IPSC and USPSA scoring is different because accuracy counts. I'm also...
Okay, so who is going to show the newbie how it's done? What kind of prep work needs to be done, other than reading the bills in advance? What should I bring (snacks, paper & pen, etc.)?
No, I wish. It just isn't popular enough for manufacturers to get the message that there are more lefties, and left eye dominancies, than they realize. Not to mention Stag owns the patent anyway. I also wish the side charge would gain greater momentum in the Industry.

SHOT Show 2017 has come and gone. I made it home and have (mostly) recovered from a crazy week. I've exceeded my goals this year and I can't wait to get started on a new season with my new partners.

Glad to hear it was a good match. I like both steel and paper targets. Steel is instant gratification while paper with 2 alphas is pretty sweet, too.
