I had one stuck on a new 10/22TD that was crazy tight! I tried everything to get it off - heat/cold, penetrating lubricant, and even a wrench. It felt like the flash hider was going to break in half before it ever came loose. I contacted Ruger and they asked me to send the barrel back to them -...
Damn! It said "Available" on the listing, so I thought there were still some left, but when I tried to buy I got "The selected quantity cannot be added to your cart."
Tried with 10 at first, then with 1... nope. Oh well.
Not sure I'd want to remind them of that... we might end up with a possession ban too. Or DC's law, where you're only allowed to buy ammo calibers that match a gun that you own and have registered.
No, I mean OLD. Real brick walls. Built in 1915, according to the tax records.
If someone shot repeatedly in the same place with a rifle, that would bust a hole through eventually, but I think stray handgun rounds are a lot more likely, and they wouldn't do much more than chip it.

I've got an old brick house with walls that are pretty thick and could likely stop anything short of .50 bmg, but the tall windows are a problem.
There's glass block windows in the basement. Anyone see any testing of those? They're thicker and heavier than normal glass panes, but I don't think...

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I didn't manage to find them in stock anywhere, but mail order shipped to the UPS store in Shrewsbury turned out to be both easy and inexpensive.
Does anyone know a store where clear Ruger BX-25 mags are in stock somewhere in DE or PA, relatively close to north Baltimore?
I just got a new 10/22 and I'd like to get some mags for it. I'd prefer the clear ones, but they're harder to find in stores, and since I can't do mail order into...
