WWII Luger in need of Gunsmith -- Recommendations?

You may want to reach out to this gentleman. His shop is in Bucks County Pa and you maybe able to take the pistol to his shop. https://lugerman.com/ I own several Lugers and the one of the most important elements in dollar value is matching numbers. There are lots of small parts that are...

      Permit Card Seems Low Quality

In North Carolina, the permit looks like the paper 1960s era military drivers license with the sheriff's signature. And, of course, it is laminated.

NC Judge Slaps Order on M’burg Sheriff Sitting on CHP app.s!

In North Carolina, if you do not have a CC permit, you have to go to the sheriff office in your county and get a handgun purchase permit. This entails filling out a form like a 4473 and submitting it to the sheriff office. The permit(s) cost $5.00 each and you can purchase up to 5 at a time...

Recent resignation of Navy Chief Larry Dunn from Scott's

Sad news indeed. I would frequently stop in and see Larry at the shop behind Palmer's Printing. He would always share photos of his hunting trips to Iowa.

      Vehicle

I believe my old M151A1 "MUTT" would do well with a EMP incident.

      Gold & Silver Coin Liquidation

I would contact Golden Eagle coin shop in Laurel. Nice people to work with and a safe environment to conduct a sale. I have never had an issue buying or selling to this business.

What was your first .22 rimfire?

British Enfield MK4 (?) .22 caliber conversion. My father purchased it thru Sears catalog in 1961 for my 9th birthday. If I remember correctly, it was $11.00 and delivered thru the mail.

      NFA Picture Thread

I've owned a half dozen Reising Model 50(s) over the years and most PD and state prisons stamped or burned their "ID(s)" into the weapon (as they did on Thompsons, Trench Shotguns, Remington 51 rifles, almost everything) such as CCPD (Culver City PD) ,OSP (Oklahoma State Police), etcetera. It...
