      No ARs in Maryland?

It's a PSA company guideline they won't ship a complete lower but they will ship a stripped lower to your FFL

ATF: No Such Thing As A Free SBR

Yeah I was on the fence about registering...I don't like playing a game when they change the rules but I liked my braced pistol more

ATF NFA pistol brace registration question

I never got the pop up. Even though they are now SBRs in the ATF'S eyes & that should allow us to put a stock on them but they are still saying NO....Md State Police still sees them as a pistol so the brace can't be replaced with a stock. What's the advantage of having them in a trust?

ATF NFA pistol brace registration question

After 82 days, I finally got the approved email. I had doubts after 50 days that they would find something like fingerprint card or electronic picture wasn't clear or some silly reason to disapprove but finally got it and that lonely brace got reunited with the AR pistol. Printed a copy of...

Hello from Charles County. I got the bug!

If you never assembled a lower, it can be tricky, especially the springs and you need special tools. I'd recommend buying a completed lower or have the store put it together after you choose your parts for a stripped lower. It took 20 minutes while I waited and it wasn't expensive.

Hello from Charles County. I got the bug!

Next time you're headed North, stop by Hanover Armory in Hanover(near BWI Airport). You can buy one of their manufactured AR15 lowers(yes, they have milling machines) and parts to build yours or have them build it or just buy a complete rifle. It feels good to buy locally made

Hello from Charles County. I got the bug!

Welcome and just like everyone else has said, buy from a Md shop, it's cash & carry if you pass the quick background check. A Md compliant AR15 rifle has to be heavy barrel(whatever that is) and have a 10 rounds or less magazine. You can own magazines greater than 10 rds but you can't buy...

You hold the record so far for fastest Form1 approval...glad to know they are approving and not just making us go thru all the trouble just to be disapproved in the end. You must have did it all online, including the electronic fingerprints.
