      Jumping to the lands

Have you all drilled and taped fired cases? Or I have to buy the Hornady cases? I bought the drill and tap but my 30-06 bullets and 6.8 bullets don't size sized bullets in and out of the freely to work with this to check the chamber.

      Jumping to the lands

NM, I found the parts list and the number are the part numbers. They don't include that in the packaging so you can tell which one to use. They should have included a chart

      Jumping to the lands

Okay, so I bought the Bullet Comparator set. Part # B14 and it lists below as the bullet types. The instruction don't explain which insert is for which number. I looked on their website for the part and don't see a chart. The inserts have number like shown below. IMO, once you get to 6 they...

Rows 3 and 4 of potatoes in this morning. 30 or so per row on 3' spaced rows. 15” to 18” spacing of seeds and 3’ rows. Peppers go in at the steaks. Rows are wide enough at 9’ for peppers for the tractor to till after potatoes are harvested. White stuff is a hand full of wood stove ash

Not free but my local garden center sells what they call mushroom soil by the yard. It is composted horse crap and a great growing dirt.

      Who's getting in some fishing?

I used to have an ocean kayak 15' model and those things are built for speed and not stability. I fished once in the heavy wind and had to ride it like a horse with my legs in the water while dropping the line. I have since switched to a Ride 135 and lots out there like that built for stability...

      Lubing Lee REAL bullets?

Wider is better and it will compress to the rifling. I used 9/16? cutter for a 50 caliber shot. 1/2" for my 44

      Lubing Lee REAL bullets?

I used to buy Durafelt and it looks like they are not around any more. Wonder wads if you don't want to make them. 1/8" should be fine and I think it is what I have.

      Lubing Lee REAL bullets?

I cut them with a 9/16" punch and if you want the lube thick you can lube the entire sheet, let it dry and punch it. I would punch them dry and dip in hot lube with tweezers and toss in a tin foil ball and bake at 200 to even out.

      Lubing Lee REAL bullets?

If your beeswax was too runny at 1:1 use less oil. I shot them unlubed with a lubed felt wad for a better seal.

I have always had crap luck growing corn. Just doesn't produce and not enough fertilizer and I like to garden natural. This year I plan to try the Three Sisters Indian style and ordered Heirloom corn. Country Gentleman and Stoles Evergreen. Also ordered butternut squash, spaghetti squash and...

      Why Truncated Cone?

I could see this as an advantage. I barrel tested some 9mm rounds and hollow points for expansion and alloy testing. The round nose with WW lead, air cooled round nose bullets did not expand at all. They came out of the barrel the same diameter as my G17 barrel. Even though semi softer lead. It...

      Brass availability

I saw this thread and Starline did finally send me the 6.8 brass. It took almost 5 months. Cheaper than buying elsewhere, IF, you have the patience for it.
