Can someone please tell me which buffer tube covers are legal in MD since we had to remove the arm braces off our AR pistols? Also can you put anything else on the buffer tube, aside from the cover? Or is it, once can shoulder it with anything, it becomes illegal? Thanks.. this is confusing.
^Couldn't agree more. I now take the extra time to go to Duffy's instead of the other, closer shops I used to go to. Vince and the Duffy's team are great!
And that vepr12....
That's right, in this case it really isn't a Maryland law that's in question here.
Maryland Code for Public Safety, section 5.204 specifically spells out the regulation for the adjacent states only. And (most) FFLs in our adjacent states are familiar with this provision since they deal with...
I can see that with Florida or any "non-adjacent" state. There is specific provision in Maryland code that allows selling over the counter long guns in the adjacent state (pa, va, wva, de) without any additional transfers or paperwork as long as the long gun is considered cash and carry in both...

It's stated in the FAQ's that 22lr long guns are not considered copycats, aside from few unique cases, and therefore are ok, my question is, does that apply to 22lr AKs as well? I was under the impression that all AKs and copys...
Excuse my ignorance, what is OAL and OTOH mean?
In any case I will just use the FFL above since they had no issues with it, they're not too far from me and save myself the trouble of trying to argue with my FFL.

Actually he may have said 29, I just posted it wrong.... So then if the rifle is over 29 (just looked it up, it's 34 -folded) I shouldn't have a problem, I will call them again tomorrow.
EDIT: Ok, I'm wrong. Specs are 35 extended, 27 folded. At least that's what it said on classic's site. So...
