      This especially. We see many 6-8 year-old children in classes because the parent wants them there. Most cannot even pick up a firearm let alone handle it safely. In this case I think 12 year-old children would be capable to take the class and benefit from the in-class experience.

      You are correct. The on-line course has a minimum age of 13 years. The in-person class does not. Take your sons to an in-person class.

      You do not need an HQL to shoot there. Just take the range orientation and you can go whenever the ranges are open. Are you an MD Hunter Safety Instructor? We need more instructors and teaching there qualifies as a conservation credit for work hours.
