      Varying Opinions on Max Magnification for 22 LR Scope

      If it is just punching paper then I see no reason to not have a variable that can do a broad range of magnification. The Weaver V series 6x24 is a decent inexpensive scope that I use on one of my paper punchers. I can see the holes at 100 yards easily, which is nice.

      Suppressed 22 ideas

      CZ 455 Varmint Tacticool Suppressor ready is worth a look. Very nice as a stock rifle with plenty of upgrades available. A suppressed .22 bolt gun is ridiculously quiet.

      Sig p226 frame finish issue

      I would just keep grease on the rails and affected areas and shoot it. Don't use Hoppes #9 to clean it due to the nickel finish
