      New CZ 75B SA!

Quick update: Picked up my frame from Bollinger's, and installed all of the aforementioned parts. What do you guys think? :D

      New CZ 75B SA!

Little update: received the cgw hammer, sear, 15lb mainspring, and floating trigger pin. I just stripped off all the components and just dropped the frame at bollingers for some burnt bronze cerakote (for the personal touch :D). On the slide, I've beveled the rear edge of the slide which...

      New CZ 75B SA!

The reach is a little long, but I find that it places the pad of my index finger on the trigger automatically, which I like. There is a bit of takeup, but it is ultra smooth. Once you get to the wall, there is a slight amount of creep as the hammer cams back slightly (the sear/hammer hooks are...

      New CZ 75B SA!

Just picked up this CZ 75B SA from Constitutional Firearms. Unfortunately I couldn't take the mags home with me, but it is one sweet piece regardless. First thing I noticed is that it is oiiiiily. Took me nearly an hour to get the nooks and crannies, but it was worth it. Rock-solid barrel lockup...

If I wanted a Geissele Trigger Which Would Work Best?

Can't go wrong with the SSA. I have it and it is plenty light for me. One thing to remember is if your pistol and shotgun triggers are heavier, it can be funky to transition while running and gunning in 3-gun especially.

      Rust/Preservative removal from Kimber 82?

Ballistol has always worked great for me when removing rust. I use it on all sorts of stuff. I once left a bass guitar in storage and the pickips and hardware all rusted. Ballistol made it look like new, plus even after putting it back into storage, the rust never returned.

      Mossberg Jerry Miculek Pro 12ga

I have a JM 930. Works great with all ammo I've run through it (2 3/4 buck, bird [light and heavy target loads], slugs [reduced recoil and full power]). I ran it for 3 days at the tarheel 3 gun without cleaning and it performed without a hiccup. I thought I originally wanted a ghost ring but I...

AR15 build post Oct 1st question...

Here's a question: if I have a stripped lower that is supposedly registered on the form as "other", and I assemble it into a complete rifle (that would be banned post-oct. 1st), do I need to re-register it as a complete regulated long gun to be grandfathered in?
