Inexpensive 12g slugs for the range?

Marlin 39 needs qualified Gunsmith

AR10/LR308 Failing to extract spent casing?
The AR-15 is MIL-SPEC so parts from different manufacturers play well together. The AR308 has at least two different, incompatible standards, Armalite and DPMS. You might want to check that. Mine are DPMS spec. I have adjustable gas blocks and 5.5 oz Heavy Buffer buffers. They seem to work great. -

Sig P229 40 to 9mm

M4 vs M3 vs something else
If I were buying a Benelli, I would probably go with the M-2, based on price and features. The M-4 looks nice, but out of my price range. Browning Auto 5, switch safety?
My safety on my Auto 5 is definitely on the right, but the checkering on the curved edge tore up my trigger finger, so I took it apart and used a Dremel to smooth up the first row of the checkering. Not it is perfect. -
