Are you active military or just moved to the state. If not stationed here by the military, you are required to obtain a MD drivers license within 30 days of establishing residency.
With gun sales down and more and more dealers going out of business, you guys really won't have to worry about gun shows in MD soon. Hell, if gun sales keep dropping and dealers keep closing up, you won't even be able to buy guns in MD.
This show turned out to be a gold mine! (at least for me) I can't go into detail but Lee knows what I'm talking about!
Somes sweet finds and deals to be had if you look
Try both if you can, if not shooting them, at least hold them and see which one feels better in your hands. Then go from there....
I don't really have a problem shooting either one but Sig has a better track record. Just my 2 cents
I'll take the carbine in the upgraded scenario, lighter weight and more ammo. I can always secure another firearm option later.
In the first option I would have chosen the sks, as others have said ammo is a little easier to find for it with only 50 rnds to start with.
Thats a pretty cool piece. I would email one of the curators at the NRA Firearms Museum in Fairfax. They may be able to shed the most light on what you have.
Your right in at least one respect, some of the show goers just see "such and such" and the price and don't really pay attention to anything else on the tags. I have done that while car shopping and have to catch myself. Although people have to resign to the fact that everything has gone up and...
And again with the K31, the gentleman had a nice K31 with bayonet, bag full of clips and a shit load of ammo with it. But instead of asking about the price folks just want to skoff about it on the interwebs.
