I am 22 years old, and I am enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus where I currently study Cybersecurity. I have a Calico cat named Taffy who has been with me for at least 8 years. I am a student delegate in the Maryland Student Legislature where student delegations from colleges and universities across the state of Maryland propose legislation and vote for officers, such as the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and the Speaker. I am a proud gun owner and Second Amendment supporter, and I will do what I can at MSL to restore the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
"There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: "A republic, if you can keep it." " (Beeman, n.d., Para. 10)
"Section 1.
