      You're First Firearm of 2013???

Hadn't planned on any but ......... I ended up buying a H&R Pardner Protector 12 ga. This really is a decent gun for the money. Bought it for home protection along with my other guns that I had bought for the same reason. Always seemed like a good reason to have another gun!

Love him or hate him, Hickok45 reviewing the CZ-82

Hickok45's you tubers are some of the best down to earth videos I have seen on YouTube. He simply shows you the gun he is going to use and then fires away. Commentary is what I want to hear in a Vid. Not a lot of fluff. And you gotta love his shooting range too. I just chime in once in awhile...

      recurve limb straightening

Bp, just like vnvgunner says, use warm water not hot. Just submerge in water a little while then grab the end and gently twist to get the form you need. Hold for about 10 to 15 seconds. Some are easier done than others. Depending on the material used for making the bow. Good luck

      Any trad archers here??

For a while I was shooting recurves and longbows a lot. Just seems like it is more fun to shoot trad equipment. I haven't shot as much recently though. Still they are a lot of fun to shoot. I hav 3 recurves- Samick, Wing and A Len Cardinal and 2 longbows a Byron Ferguson signature model Patriot...

can prohibited persons inherit regulated firearms?

Just more food for thought. What if your buddie does get hold of a firearm and you are with him when he gets caught. Are you going to be in some kind of violation too? He may convince someone that you knew all along that he wasn't supposed to have one. I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, just...

can prohibited persons inherit regulated firearms?

I think the law states that it IS illegal to knowingly give or sell a firearm to such person. To make it worse would to be out somewhere with this gun and get a "routine" check for licenses or a traffic stop only to find to be in possession of an illegal firearm. Jail time gets higher...

      Worst Handgun

I understand that this is one mans opinion but I have a Judge and it shoots pretty good with the .45LC and defense loads. Not so much on birdshot, but I don't figure on using it for that. jmho
