Transfer question from a non resident

Wow, did not know that. I thought that went for handguns only, and they would no longer register any new “regulated” long guns.

Transfer question from a non resident

Ha, I read your sarcasm loud and clear. It’s a good thing all the people in Baltimore who are actually responsible for all the crime are subjected to the same stringent, thorough regulation and checks. I feel safer! Yeah, it’s ridiculous. It’s nice to know that if I ever moved back to MD, I...

Transfer question from a non resident

Thank you all. The gun in question is a 1970s production S&W 586, so it’s on the MD roster and won’t have mags. And he does have his HQL. I guess when the time comes, we’ll select an FFL and make sure they’re alright with me hand delivering it, then let MD paperwork, wait, and fees go from there.

Transfer question from a non resident

Hey fellas, it’s been awhile. Moved to Georgia in 2014 after having lived in Maryland for the first 30 years of my life. So here’s the question: If I wanted to transfer a handgun to a relative who lives in MD, I know we’d have to use a MD FFL. Now would my only option be to ship it to that...

      Powder Valley

I found some IMR4895 and 8208XBR at Powder Valley maybe three weeks ago. It was on GunBot. Grabbed some of each. It lasted maybe 15 minutes in stock. Right place, right time!

What Ever Happened to Moly Coated Bullets

I got away from fussing with moly in my RRA NM A2. I still have some to shoot up though. When buying SMKs, the moly costs enough more per 500 that I could just buy a new barrel when the time comes and continue shooting non-coated and not have to change my cleaning routine. So the...

      Bullseye and 9mm

I load the 115 Rainier with 4.3gr/Bullseye. Cycles my P228, 92FS, G19, G17, and 9mm AR just fine. Loads of fun!

      45ACP Loads...200gr favorites

4.6/ Bullseye under a 200gr LSWC makes my 1911s happy.

stop all the leaving and moving nonsense

My wife is from Georgia, and her family still lives there. We visit them and I feel like I can breathe in that state. We have a 1.5 year old boy and twins due in October. Not a chance in hell I'm raising my family here. I can't get to Georgia soon enough. We'll be gone in about a year...

      Glock brass

I reload for all my Glocks, which include two 9mms, two .40s, and a .45 ACP. All are Gen 3 pistols. No problems at all in several thousand rounds (mostly 9mm). I reload 9mm and .45 just like I would for any other pistol, but I use a Lee Factory Crimp Die for the .40 cal just as a final...

      2400 for .357 Magnum

2400 is great in .357. I use Unique for the light lead and some cast loads. But for the 125gr XTP and the 158 cast burners, 2400 ROCKS. It's also nice that I already stocked it for .30 Carbine...

NOVA Firearms in Falls Church VA won't sell MD resident large magazines

Where in MD are you? I'm in NoVA nearly every day for work. That wouldn't be my first choice since they advertise themselves as "the only VA gun shop inside the beltway." That puts them on a pedestal in their eyes, IMO, and allows them to be selective. They don't have enough competition...
