Thanks everyone. Any insight anyone can provide on that leading 2 on the receiver? My first guess means it's a 1958 but then why isn't the 2 on the rest of the serials? Was this typically left off the serials for magazine, stock, trigger guard and bolt? My only other thought is that the 2... -

I have what I'm fairly certain is a Chinese SKS but I need some help getting it more specifically identified. All the serials match with on exception. On the stock and bolt, the serial number is "396604" however on the receiver the serial number is "2396604". The leading 2 appears to be a...
