Actually, it appears they are shooting every Saturday there isn't an event at the Powellville VFW, because they are shooting Air Rifle next Saturday, the 24th. They use Winchester 52s and mostly 75s for 22, and have some pretty serious air rifles, too.
Keith puts a lot of time and effort into...
The Powellville VFW has started its Air Rifle/.22 summer program. Instructors supply rifles, ammo and targets. 3-position shooting. 9 AM on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month. The VFW is on Mt. Hermon Road about 10 miles out from Salisbury.
The American Legion Post 64 will start its Air...
Salisbury Gun Club has a youth division for its monthly 50yd BR. 22 shoots. Right now, my 12 y.o. is the only one who participates as a youth. They even have pins to give out for the iron sight and scope winners. It's $140 for the year for an adult to join, and the kid shoots free, while the...

I'm Lower Shore
Salisbury. MY son has had the chance to shoot BB at Cub Scout camp (he hated it due to his vision condition which makes target shooting almost impossible for him, very frustrating for him, and he barely hits the paper), but I figured the girl should get a chance too.
I...
Name's Bill. My 12 y.o. daughter took up shooting this summer, and has done some BR shoots with good results. I'm just an interested dad more than willing to do what she needs to help her become a better shooter.
I'm a gun-lovin' Dem, which probably makes me a rarity in these here parts...
My soon-to-be 13 y.o. daughter took up shooting this summer with the help of some friends with good equipment. She's done two BR competitions, and did fairly well in scope and ironsight after using each rifle just a few times. She wants to practice more than just the monthly shoots, especially...
