I'm sorry if you start an argument and I'm sure cuss out someone you deserve to die? I don't think so. I think we don't know what was said by the deceased but no matter what he said he didn't deserve to die. There are so many things the shooter could have done to de escalate the situation...- fav453

Traveler thanks for the offer. I went to continental arms and they had a nice spread of reloading supplies. Lots of different 1# powders and primers. Actually I was impressed with the shop as I hadn't been there in 10 years. I got 2 powders for 223 cfe223 and Alliant AR. -

Ok got all the equipment, primers and bullets. What I don't have is powder. Bass pro didn't have any that would work for 223. Online you have to pay shipping plus hazardous material fees which doesn't make any sense when buying 1#. Those fees doubles the cost. I have to think even expensive... -

I plan on reloading for plinking at this point. Low volume a couple of hundred per month. I plan on doing rifle at first 1-2 calibers and possibly pistol later. What Im after isn't super accurate but works consistently good in my guns. -

What products do you use to maintain your AR?
Ok I haven't cleaned yet but I got CLP and mobile one. Next I am going to get the Mobile 1 grease. I'm actually looking forward for this task. Will these items work with my pistols too. i've always just used Hobbes cleaners and oil on my Glock and Ruger. -

Putting a 22LR upper on a 5.56 lower
I have a CMMG dedicated upper using the s&w 15-22 mags with a adapter. I only have a 100 rounds through it and the only problem I have seem is the adapter (better mag) some times slips up and and blocks the BCG. -

Remington 597
I have a 597 and love it. I didn't have a scope and love the challenge of shooting open sites. I am soon going to put a scope on it and actually put a weaver rail on it but haven't got a scope yet. -

What products do you use to maintain your AR?
Thanks for the input, I'm just as confused as when I started but CLP sounds good. Using car products on my AR Sounds like a sacrilege. -

I was cleaning my AR for the first time and I noticed that the break free cleaner (BFC) said not recommended for automatic actions. I assumed this is for bolt guns and revolvers? So what do you use and why?
