+1 on HKS. Mine too are >30yrs old, simple reliable and if the OP is used to HKS, stick with that style. Practice and muscle memory will make them easier to use under stress.

Historically, it was chambered in .38 with the shorter barrel for the Navy. Sites mostly list it as a New Army no matter the caliber and barrel length. I thought about getting the .38 but I have more fun reloading and shooting the .45 (Colt, ACP and Auto Rims.)

If you look up some reloading data, you can see what the max/hot loads are. Then look for factory rounds that list similar velocities.
Buffalo Bore has some great 10mm rounds...
the heavier bags are now been used for curb side pick-up so people that use that regularly are ending up with piles of reusable bags. I use cloth bags that will decompose if disposed of properly. Which I plan to do, after I turn them into gun cleaning patches.
