I've only shot it a 1K yards and that give you about 3 seconds after pulling the trigger to reacquire your target, find the bullet trail and watch the impact. It's definitely not for the budget minded, but you will be grinning from ear to ear after each shot.
With a Vortex Razor HD on top...
I got one a year or so ago and it is a great rifle. But just an FYI, unless you have access to a private land to shoot on, the closest range I have found that allows 50BMG is in Northern Virginia.
I just got a Serbu BFG50a and Quantico Shooting Club is the only range around that allows 50BMG. I would gladly help out with your range fees for in return for your help.
PM if you'd be willing to help out.
Thanks

Still waiting on the stamp for the 300BLK SBR to go with it.
I'm going to try it on my AR-10 in the mean time.
I have the Frankford Arsenal trim center and it works well. I wanted instant gratification so I got a Dillon RT1500 and that thing was work every penny; you'll need a progressive press though. The FA sits on the bench collecting dust, but if you have more patience than I do it is a good little...
Here's why I gave up and paid for brass:
I know what I'm getting. All Lake City once fired brass. My other options are either buying ammo for the brass and shooting bullets that are not the weight or charge I want or scavenging at the range. I leave my brass after 4-5 reloads, so the latter...
Here's what I've tried:
Dillon superswage: works like a champ but slow
Hornday pocket reamer on a Frankford Arsenal case prep center: faster but can kill a case if you don't keep the cases perfectly straight.
GS swager upgrade for Dillon 650: thought this with the RT1500 case trimmer...
24g of Varget behind 75g match bthp works great for me. It has been rock solid and can hollow out the bullseye at 50yds. Still 1-2moa at 100 but that more me than the ammo. The ammo alone would be sub moa.
I've tried CFE 223 and it was good but Varget was more accurate. CFE223 being a ball...
