Well to each his own. I will continue to use UTM products along with dry fire and Mantis X products. If you don't find them useful....cool. Doesn't mean I don't and the people I have taught using them don't either.
If you have never shot before it helps build confidence. What does 1 shot do? Plus you dont even need to HIT a target with the 1 shot. Anyway. I dont know why I'm debating. You are free to do what you want. And if my business doesnt go anywhere that's on me. The joys of free will. If people want...
Beginner classes are initial/recurring training. Nobody in the USAF fires the pistol in basic. They only fire rifle. Cops and Special Force units shoot during initial training, all others get to their first base and only fire pistol if they are Officers or deploying to the sandbox with dual...
You do know that I train beginner classes for the military and accomplish all the "in depth" training in less than 4 hrs? A basic pistol class doesnt take 8 hrs. Barricades are part of a basic class. Shooting around a doorway, over a table/short partition and kneeling is a basic class for the...
UTM is meant as way to train safely and anywhere. The whole purpose of UTM is training. Doesnt matter how you use it. Like I said before, crawl walk run. Once they "qualify" and they want to progress, then you move to shoot house scenarios. They need to learn basics before you train tactics...
No, my business is crawl walk run. Dry fire, blanks, Target rounds. Plus getting an HQL requires you safely handle the weapon, load a magazine, load the weapon, and effectively fire 1 rd in a safe direction. I want to have my shooters fire an actual course of fire with reloads and shooting with...
Dry fire is really useful; however, firing any type of projectile and seeing shot placement is always a much better tool. MantisX used with UTM would be far more useful. But training wise for beginners and novice shooters looking to improve skills, UTM will work wonders. I have been teaching for...
Same idea but the UTM product is more accurate and doesn't cause in fowling and doesn't require hardly on cleaning and no lube. SIMS requires both. Sorry just picky and like UTM better....lol.
Actually UTM has marksmanship value. Better than dry fire. SIMS are crap by the way(different product). And really with UTM you need a barrel, ammo, and eye pro with loose fitting clothes. But to truly answer your question, it's a business idea.
