Rush used to sometimes call the Republicans the Washington Generals. Happy to continually lose to the Globetrotters while remaining on the gravy train.
I'm 65 and would recommend a Single Six for inexperienced seniors. Even though it's a single action there is little recoil and with a little practice is comfortable to use. Also, if they can handle a little more recoil they can step up to 22 mag.
I like to start out new shooters with my Single Six 22lr. It's really good for slow deliberate shooting so one can get down the mechanics. If they get comfortable and want a little more pop I switch to the 22mag cylinder.
IMHO reloading doesn't save money because I end up shooting more.
However, for me, there are some significant advantages: 1) I enjoy reloading; 2) I can tailor my loads to my specific gun and application (i.e. target, SD); 3) if I'm smart and have stocked up on adequate supplies I can reload...
i put Hogue grips on my SP101 a few years ago. For me it made a significant difference in control over the original grips.
I generally shoot 38spl for practice and 38spl+P for self-defense. I occasionally shoot 357mag but I'm not very accurate with it.
We had what looked like a barred owl in our yard about two weeks ago. I had never seen one before and it was quite impressive (wasn't able to get any good pictures).
The owl was being harassed by a bunch of crows. I didn't realize that crows and owls are enemies.
I bought one early last year with my stimulus money. It's a beautiful gun. I am very happy with the fit and finish, as well as, the accuracy of both the 357 and 9mm cylinders.
We are looking to redo our master bathroom and guest bathroom full gut. Our master bathroom we are looking for something upscale but not as nice for the guest bathroom. We got a quote from a well-known bath and tile company which was outrageous.
We live in 20904 and are looking for good...
