      Lancaster won't issue permit

There's law enforcement officers who don't follow the law? I'm shocked...shocked, I tell ya.... :D  My main point of posting was to correct those who think the ones saying they will revoke are "just blowing smoke". They're not, and the law calls for them to do it. Just like...

      Lancaster won't issue permit

It is good until it expires or IS REVOKED. The sheriff is REQUIRED BY STATE LAW TO REVOKE if he becomes aware you no longer meet the requirements to be issued a permit. This includes having a home state permit. I bolded the relevant parts below.

      Philadelphia repeals bullet proof glass

      1. The office that issues LTCF in Philadelphia is the Chief of Police because State Law stipulates that in "Cities of the First Class" (more than 1 million residents) that's who does it. 2. Philadelphia does indeed have a sheriff. Sheriff Jewel Williams 3. PA is shall issue. If you...

      S&W Victory .22lr ?

The only time I've ever shot one was the Smith and Wesson side match, at this year's NSSF World Championship. Being a lefty, I hated the location of the safety, and they were making us use it in the side match as we started with it, and a M&P 15/22 both loaded, and benched on different tables...

      First IDPA match tips?

      1) It was a rowboat. 2) It was only on the ground because they wouldn't allow me to turn the bay into a pond..... 3) They were alligators, not zombies.... Oh wait, different match. :lol2::party29::innocent0

      Unknown Ruger lever .22

A guy who used to come to our rimfire challenge matches had one. He loved it.

Domicled in WV, Living in MD

https://www.atf.gov/questions-and-answers/qa/may-person-who-resides-one-state-and-owns-property-another-state-purchase My understanding, as long as you are maintaining a home and actually living part of the year in each state, when you are actually living in State A, you may purchase in...

      Rimfire Challenge

I read a post by Michael saying that Mechanical was going to be coming back as a division, instead of the current "special recognition" within the 2 divisions. Looking forward to see what other positive changes they'll make after getting control. I'm hoping they soon have something up about...

      Hunting/Shade Gap, PA

You haven't been to Shade Gap. There's 1 gas station....and it's probably not open early in the morning.... ;) Not sure about meat processors, I think most folks around there handle it themselves. If you're looking to "get away from it all", Shade Gap is your spot. There's 1 gas station...

2017 NSSF Rimfire Challenge World Championship

Wish I'd have seen this and known you were going, I was there, too. I wonder where the World Championship will be next year, considering Cavern Cove is for sale.... (yeah, I wish I had the money, I'd live on the property.....)

      Ruger 10/22 $200

Last time I remember Dick's dropping them to this price, a shop semi local to me put the ones they had in stock at $150. They do that again, I might just have to pick up a second one. Not buying crap from Dick's, though.

      CR123A batteries

I've used a bunch of the Titanium batteries from Battery Junction, as well. Like another posted, the only measurable difference I noticed between them and the "big names" is the price. $1 each if you buy less than 11. Pricing goes down as order quantity goes up. The thing I like is the...
