Trying to make sense of MD mag laws?

If MD lawmakers caught the goose that lays the golden eggs, they would cook and eat it, then wonder why they don't have any more golden eggs.

      Why COPS use .40: Q & A With a Cop

I have a longtime friend whose older brother was a career EMT in Fairfax County who saw a lot of gunshot injuries. He shared a story about an adult man in his 30's who lived with his parents. The man would make demands for things and if his parents refused, he would threaten to kill himself...

That's a gigantic false equivalency and it also isn't what I said. For some reason, you are throwing out a straw man and trying to put words in my mouth. Let's discuss it. Do you see any difference between lending your firearm to your wife, daughter, co-workers in high security jobs, people...

      Civil disobedience by gun owners

Feel like we are retreating, that legislators have us in their sights and are winning. It's sad that the last line of defense will soon be SCOTUS and unless we seat another constitutional justice, that may not go our way either.

      Civil disobedience by gun owners

I'm afraid civil disobedience by a gun owner in Maryland would result in getting on the wrong side of the "Red Flag" law. They have really sort of boxed us in. AntiFa can riot in the streets, beat the crap out of people, destroy private property and the police are instructed to just watch, but...

      loaning handguns

It's hard for me to be impartial on this issue. However, this legislation is aimed at the owner who lends his gun, not the felon who uses the gun. I think the imbecile who lends his firearm to someone he has only known for a month should be held accountable, to a point. I wouldn't do that, I...

      loaning handguns

The legislation specifically targets the gun owner, not the criminal who used the gun. It would hold gun owners accountable even if they didn't know the person was a felon or on parole. Under both federal and Utah law it's already illegal to knowingly lend a firearm to a felon. 18 USC...

MD Gets New Political Party - Socialist "Bread and Roses" for 20/22 Ballots

Republicans should get a seat or maybe 2 in the 2020 election. 2 judge federal panel ruled Maryland's election map unconstitutional and it must be redrawn prior to the 2020 election. Brian Frosh appealed the ruling, but the 2011 map is a farce, don't see him succeeding.

      loaning handguns

This is probably a reaction to a tragedy that my own family experienced last year. My 1st cousins daughter, Lauren, was the University of Utah athlete who was shot to death in October by her ex-boyfriend. Her killer borrowed the gun from his roommate. My cousin and his wife are lobbying hard to...

MD Gets New Political Party - Socialist "Bread and Roses" for 20/22 Ballots

In this case, they aren't promising a lot, they are promising a little, just the basics with a requirement to work to get it. I doubt they will have a lot of takers for that pitch. These people are crazy.

Next session gun laws from Gov. Northam

It's likely that RBG will step down and SCOTUS will go to a SOLID 5-4 constitutional - activist margin (sometimes 6-3 depending on Robert's mood). Once that happens, these issues can be conclusively settled in a way upholds the 2A instead of chipping away at it.

MD Gets New Political Party - Socialist "Bread and Roses" for 20/22 Ballots

"Our Version of the American Dream: To have a modest but secure income, sufficient for meeting core needs, through meaningful work and living in a beautiful environment, with sufficient leisure to do those things that matter most in life." THEIR American dream, inflicted upon all, whether...

Trying to make sense of MD mag laws?

On the nose. I fear that soon, the legal, acquired in VA, Glock 33 round fun sticks I have for my Ruger PC Carbine will need to be turned in to the Gestapo.
